Why Protego exists
Protego publishes practical, sourced guidance on cloud security, zero trust architecture and AI security. The goal is simple: security advice that a working engineer can read, understand and apply the same day, whatever the size of the organization.
Everything on the site comes from hands-on cloud security work rather than a content team: the articles, the free browser tools and the certification courses are all written, built and maintained by one person, and corrected in the open when readers report an issue.
Who writes Protego
Idan Ohayon
Protego is written and maintained by Idan Ohayon, a Microsoft Cloud Solution Architect and Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert with a background in systems and IT infrastructure. His focus is cloud security, zero trust architecture, Microsoft Entra ID and AI security, including securing enterprise AI deployments on Azure OpenAI.
On Protego, Idan publishes in-depth security articles, builds free security tools that run in your browser, and writes free certification prep courses for exams such as SC-500, SC-200, SC-300 and AWS Security Specialty.
